The BRAND'S® Alphas held their 2nd birthday celebration at the Jurong Bird Park on 26 November 2009. It was a day of fun, laughter and learning for all who came for this awesome BRAND'S® Alpha Adventure!

|
The day started at noon with parents dropping off their little ones for a party with the BRAND'S® Alphas. The kids were chaperoned in groups to the main party venue – the beautiful Flamingo Lodge – for the birthday bash. Before entering the Lodge, every kid was scanned by BRAND'S® Alpha agents to determine their Alpha ability – were they Ace, Shield, Mynd or Vision? Only the scanners could tell!

After being assigned into groups according to their Alpha ability, the training mission began. Each Alpha team embarked on a learning session with their fantastic feathered friends from the Jurong Bird Park. Alpha Team Shield got up close and personal with the Oooo’some Ostriches, Alpha Team Mynd had a ball of a time with the clever Prattling Parrots and Alpha Team Vision were wow-ed by the super eyesight of the Hooting Owls. The members of Alpha Team Ace were split into three groups to join their Shield, Mynd or Vision peers as leaders of each group.

Having completed their training mission, the Alpha cadets headed back to the Flamingo Lodge for their need refueling (this came in the form of yummy treats) before heading off for their next mission – the Birds & Buddies Show – for more fun with the amazing winged creatures.
After a fabulous time at the show, more games and quizzes awaited the children. The Alpha cadets did a wonderful job of rescuing the guests and saving the party!

They also exhibited their worthiness of being Alpha cadets by adhering to the BRAND'S® Alpha Code of Conduct:
- Be polite
- Be on your best behavior
- Respect others
- Listen to instructions
For behaving well and showing their Alpha-mindedness during the games, all Alpha cadets were duly rewarded with fantastic prizes such Monopoly Express game sets.

And what’s an Alpha adventure without the Alphas themselves? The day ended with our favourite superheroes arriving to cut their birthday cake. The kids couldn’t have been more excited to see them, but the busy Alphas couldn’t stay long as they had to go off to save the day. Ahh… The life of a superhero…
|
