At the Asian Parenting Summit, BRAND’S® showcased the science behind mind-boosting foods, as well as the effectiveness of its products to parents.

Speaking on the topic of ‘Smart Foods for Smarter Minds’, BRAND’S® principle scientist Dr Sherry Wang stressed the importance of eating the right foods for better mental performance. This is to help parents put together more wholesome meals for their families.

An innovative test was also set up in partnership with Neeuro, a maker of neurotechnological products. Before the test, adult and child participants were each given 41ml of chilled BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken and BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken with Vitamin B Complex for Children respectively to consume. Next, they each had to put on the SenzeBand, a headband that tracks brain activity, and attempt to move a robot across a track using brain power alone.

At the end of the test, brain activity measured was presented to the participants, who discovered that the BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken range had a positive effect on their mental concentration. The test demonstrated to the participants the mind-boosting effects of consuming the right products, at the right temperature.
