Cordyceps Flowers Dan Sheng Soup Added With BRAND’S® Essence Chicken With Cordyceps

Do you ever experience symptoms like cold or flu, coughing, short of breath & sneezing, etc which are related to your weak respiratory functions?  Taking the right immune-enhancing herbs is one way to help relieve your symptoms & strengthen your lungs’ health.

Serving size: 4 servings of rice bowl size

Ingredients

  • BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken with Cordyceps – 2 bottles
  • Chicken thigh, skinless - 1 piece.
  • Cordyceps flowers – 40-60 nos.  (Wash & soak in hot water for 10 minutes to remove the impurities & its muddy smell)
  • Dan Sheng 2 inches length - 4 pieces.  (Cut into thin slices)
  • Dried Mushrooms – 12 nos.  (Wash & soak in hot water for 10 minutes to remove the impurities)
  • Red dates, seedless - 4 nos.
  • Ginger – 2 thin slices.
  • Water – 900-1000 ml.  (Healthier choice: Distilled water or mineral water)
  • Goji berries – 12-15 nos.
  • Olive Oil - 1 teaspoon.  (Other healthy oils choices: Canola oil, Sunflower oil, Flaxseed oil, etc)
  • Pepper to taste.
  • Salt - 1 teaspoon.

Preparation

  1. Parboil Chicken thigh in hot boiling water for 1-2 minutes to remove impurities.  Discard the water and rinse the Chicken thigh clear of excess fats.
  2. Put washed Red Dates, Dan Sheng slices, Cordyceps Flowers, Ginger slices, Mushrooms and parboiled Chicken thigh into a stewing pot (Healthier choice: glass, corning ware or clay pot).  Pour water into the stewing pot & turn on high flame.  Once the water start to boil, turn to low flame & stew for 3 hours.
  3. After 3 hours, skim the soup surface of excess oil, then add washed Goji berries, Olive oil, Pepper, Salt and stir well.  Turn off flame & let the soup steep for 10 minutes.
  4. After 10 minutes is up, pour 2 bottles of BRAND’S® Essence of Chicken with Cordyceps into the soup & scoop into bowls to serve.

Consumption

  1. Suitable for everyone especially those with weak Lung energy (Qi deficiency): take this soup daily to help relieve your symptoms.  For those who always feel lethargic in the morning, to take this soup in the morning.
  2. For cooking using Slow Cooker: Water – 800-900 ml.  Put all ingredients into slow cooker & turn on Auto or High mode for 4-5 hours.  For Low mode, cooking time is 7-8 hours.  When cooking time is up, follow Preparation notes Item (3) & (4) instructions.

Note: To drink this soup at an interval of ½ to 1 hour from medications.  If you are pregnant or having any medical conditions, please seek your health expert before consuming this soup.

主料(1

  • 去皮鸡腿肉 - 1只。
  • 虫草花 – 40-60条。(洗净并浸泡于热水10分钟以除去杂质和其浑浊气味)
  • 2英寸长的党参 - 4条。(切成薄片)
  • 干香菇 - 12粒。(洗涤并浸泡于热水10分钟以除去杂质)
  • 无核红枣 - 4粒。
  • 薄姜 - 2片。
  • 水 - 900-1000毫升。(健康的选择:蒸馏水或矿泉水)

主料(2

  • 白兰氏虫草鸡精 - 2罐
  • 枸杞子 - 12-15粒。
  • 橄榄油 - 1茶匙。(其它健康油的选择:芥花籽油、葵花籽油、亚麻籽油等)
  • 胡椒粉适量。
  • 匙盐 - 1茶匙。

准备工作

  1. 把鸡腿肉放进热水1至2分钟以除去杂质。 之后把水倒掉,再以清水洗净鸡腿肉,把多余的脂肪去除。
  2. 将洗净的红枣、党参片、虫草花、姜片、蘑菇和半熟的鸡腿肉放入炖锅里(健康的选择:玻璃、康宁或陶瓷锅)。 将水倒入炖锅中并开大火煮沸。当炖锅里的水煮沸了,就转小火焖3小时。
  3. 3小时后,去掉汤表层多余的油后,加入洗净的枸杞子、橄榄油、胡椒粉和盐搅拌均匀。 关火并焖上10分钟。
  4. 10分钟后,倒入2罐白兰氏虫草鸡精于汤中,舀入碗即可享用。

摄取量

  1. 适合所有人饮用尤其是那些肺能量虚弱(气虚)者:每日服用此汤以帮助缓解您的症状。 对于那些总是在午前昏昏欲睡的人,可在早晨饮用此汤。
  2. 对于慢炖锅使用者:水- 800-900毫升。 将所有材料放入慢炖锅里并开启自动或高温模式4至5小时。 选用低温模式,烹煮时间为7至8小时。 当烹煮好了,请依据以上准备工作(3)及(4)的说明。

注意:如果有服用任何药物,必需与此汤饮用时间相隔1/2至1小时。如果您是孕妇或有任何健康问题,在饮用此汤前请咨询您的健康专家。
